"Easy Money" - Australian Creator Hits Out At Reality TV Stars

An Australian OnlyFans creator named Cherry The Mistress has criticized reality TV stars who join the adult subscription website, saying it feels like an "easy cash grab." She pointed to contestants from shows such as "Married At First Sight" and "The Bachelorette" who have joined OnlyFans after gaining popularity. Cherry, who is based in Australia, said that she worked hard to build her online presence so she could make a living on the website. She added that celebrities joining the platform can add a "negative connotation for other sex workers."

Cherry explained that when she first heard about OnlyFans, it was at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and she heard that many people were making "crazy amounts of money." She was struggling financially at the time, so she decided to give it a try. Although the income seems very high, she stressed that she works hard for it, putting in 50 to 60 hours of work per week on content creation and social media.

She is grateful that she can support herself and her boyfriend with her OnlyFans income.

The OnlyFans star said that her boyfriend is very supportive and has become her "stay-at-home husband" because she works so much that she doesn't have time to do household chores.

She mentioned that she was a barista before starting on OnlyFans and made around $2,700 AUD per month. Now, she can earn anywhere from approximately $22,500 to $30,000 AUD per month.

Cherry said that it can be frustrating to see celebrities join OnlyFans and make a lot of money quickly, compared to smaller creators who have to put in more time and effort to build their presence on the site.

She said it feels like a "slap in the face" and adds a "negative connotation for other sex workers." Despite this, Cherry is happy with her decision to join OnlyFans and is grateful for the income it provides. She is one of many Australian creators on the platform who are able to make a living by sharing content with their subscribers.
